CRASH BANDICOOT- BOARD GAME

A board game based on the very popular game of Crash Bandicoot. This was achieved by a group of 4 people including myself. This is a race-to-the Finish game that has character abilities, power cards, boost, and traps. Players choose one of the six unique characters from the franchise. Each character has a different power-up that can be used by the player at any point in the game. Each turn players roll the dice to move that many spaces on the board. As there is no linear direction provided players are free to move in any direction provided on an empty hex. 

Additionally, there are boost locations that allow players to re-roll. Some locations enable player to gain a power card. Players can only hold one power card and cannot draw a new one unless the old one is used. The game goes on until one player completes a lap around the map.

I played the role of balancing the power-ups as well as setting down various rules specific to define the gameplay feel. Taking advantage of my art background, I also made the look for the board and the cards in the game. This way the game felt fair and the character cards allowed the players to closely connect with their character as well as relay important information to other players.
